Default V1 hard wire

Anyone hardwire thier V1? Whats the best location to tap the power from and where to route?

easy, same as the escort 8500 i've done both.

Easiest place is to tap in on the interior fuse box and just run the wire up through the pillar.

I use one of those Add-A-Circuit things and run it straight from the interior fuse box. This is the 5th car I've done it on and have convinced others to do the same. You can find it at Pep Boys.

The hardest part about doing it this was is deciding on a place for ground. That always took the longest time in all the cars I've done.

Add-a-fuse is very handy but not needed unless you've already hooked up something else to the accessory tap on the fuse panel.

That's actually where I have the fuse run into but still used that thing. I didn't want to tap or splice into anything.

On the other cars I used it for, there were blanks in the fuse box but they weren't switched so it was always on. That's when that piece came in really handy.
