does anyone have any tips, the process, etc. on how to do the vafc this way?

also i was gonna put the boost guage a top the start button by taking out the stock audio button, if anyone can tell me anything that would be helpful before i go cutting my car apart...

 

looks like someone just took a flutter bit to the top of the cup holder then sanded the edges smooth....dremel could work too. You would loose th cup holder if you did this, though. I would look into putting it on the dash, just above the radio door, where the dash goes vertical. It could probably fit rather flush there. Could also just mold it into the a-pillar.
