How do you install the valentine 1? I am thinking of buying one, but i dont want wires running all around my car. How do you hook this up?

Good description in the FAQ on how to hardwire the V1

Here

I was able to run it entirely under the trim along the windshield and A pillar, then direct it straight down to the fuse box to hard wire it (i mount it on the left side of my rear view mirror) I only have about 1/2 inch of visible wire when I take down the radar detector(just the phone jack)...with the way I have it you don't have the wire running around the top bracket either...totally invisible...if you mount it by the windscreen then you have to run the wire along the console...

Here is a link to a thread that describes making a bracket for the windscreen mount if you want to do that.

Here

See FAQs - it shows how to hardwire a V1. Think about using the search feature.
