Valentine One concealed display
Hey all,
I just finished installing my V1 CD. I chose to take out the functional part (the front cover and circuit board) and mount it flush on the radio door, kind of like Rick's gauges. I didn't see this implementation during my cursory search, so I thought I'd share.

Basically I cut out most of the left card holder from behind the radio door, then cut an appropriately sized hole (measure three times..., cut, sand, sand, sand). With the edge of the CD wrapped in electrical tape, it fits snugly. Serendipitously, the bit of the card holder left does a good job of holding the phone wire so it doesn't fold into the hinge when I try to close the door.
