I have My Valentine hooked up just like it said to in the how to....and it worked great, Thanks to whoever is responcible.

My problem is this, My Remote display, somtimes when I start my car, the display doesn't seem to be getting enough voltage or something, cause the 'L' doesn't light up, and all the led's that go across and up, are dimmly lit. Anyone have any ideas?

Check all the connections, sounds like something is loose. I have no probs with my hardwired V1.

Are you using the fuse box for power? Make sure the connector is nice and snug. You may want to try a different brand of telephone cord too.

you might want to send it back to manufacture for warranty work.

 

Well, I've had my detector for a coupld of years now, and I've never had a problem with it. I had it in My Del Sol (RIP) beofre I got my S2K. The only thing that's changed is the car, I'm using all the same wiring I used, same everything. All the connections are tight. I don't know what it could be....I'll have to give V1 a call, see what they think.
