Default VFAC install

Ok ill be honest ill probibly just buy a harness for my vfac install next but I figured might as well learn the hard way also too. My apexi didnt come with a manual. So lets get a online manual for all the other poor people who didnt get one, or lost theirs. First off we will need a diagram does anyone have one they could post a pic of?

Don't even attempt to splice into the harness.... Its way too tight in there and the plugs don't come out far enough work on...

If you are in for the challenge, the manuals can be found here..

Good luck..

Unfortunatly thanks to its previous owner I had to it was installed wrong and to my suprise no wiring harness it may not be fun but I had to do it. I know this wont be the last time someone has to go through a jacked up vafc. Thanks for the manual I have searched and searched for the original manual.

Yeah, sucks that you are forced to do it...

I have installed a few in other cars and have studied the S2000 wiring too just to double check the used harness i bought...

Let me know if you have any questions...

Thanks
What car off the chart has the same ecu pin chart? I wanna put it back on this weekend. I need some round about settings to safely drive it to a dyno tune. I dont wanna mess this up. Plus it would be nice to be able to help other people out too.

I tried to reinstall mine like 3 times then I just spent the money to buy a plug and play harness. I kept getting check engine lights with the hardwire and I knew everything was right.

None is the same as those plugs in the VAFC Manual..

Just look in the S2000 Service Manual and find the pins labeled the same...

As for settings, just leave it at "0" and tune it accordingly...

Search in the Library forum for "VAFC Library". There are some baselines from different MY S2k's that you could use for your drive to your tuner's place. Or you could just get a PNP and just plug it in when you get there (what I did).

This is for a Prelude, but it may help:

I would recommend getting a PNP harness.
