Default Viper 5901 and Pioneer ft700BT

I finally bought couple of gadgets for my S2k a Viper 5901 alarm/remote combo and Pioneer HU DEH-7300BT. I paid $300 for both at a performance shop in Houston. I will be installing the stereo as soon as I go back to Canton. I don't think I'm capable of installing the alarm though and am thinking if I really should have it installed or not, please let me know what do you guys think? Thanks

depends on your electrical skills. Its a lot of wires and can be overwhelming. But if you take your time you can do it. You can pull up diagrams online. Just be careful make sure everything's taped up. And very good connections. You will also need a multimeter.

I have a 5901. I would npt recommend you install it yourself unless you have a lot of experience in this type of work.
It took a pro 6 hours to do mine.
Even programming the remote is tedious.

Good luck.
