Smile Viper Alarm Antenna/sensor Stuck to my Windshield

I got my Viper alarm installed today at Best Buy and they didn't consult me on the antenna/shock sensor placement. They stuck it to the windshield right above my VIN. It's driving me crazy!! It's right in front of me! I can understand installing it on the the windshield behind the rear view mirror, but right in my field of vision is horrible.

Anybody know how to unstick these things?

It's on there like a rock and the windshield is less than 2 months old

I hope it's easy.

Thanks for your help.

I'll give it a shot. I just barely picked it up tonight. I'm just worried because it's a new windshield and i don't want residue left on it. My friend thought maybe a heat gun might work. I just can't believe they'd put it where it is visually annoying.

Good idea with the floss. I'll try it out.

I'd try both. Heat gun or hairdryer on the glass from the outside, and try to use waxed floss gently back and forth. The wire could be extended under the windshield bezel up to the rear view mirror. Seems to be the most unobtrusive spot.

Yeah, I took it back and had the installer move the antenna. Everything is good now.
