Default What do you think is better?

I blew up the last sub that was in there (Elemental Design 9Kv.2 Subwoofer). I'm looking to replace it now.

The amp is rated 300watts rms.

I'm thinking either a :

Elemental Design 11Ov.2 Subwoofer

or

Kicker L7 8"

Thanks.

The L7 is a tight fit to get the trunk lid hinge to clear. Can not recommend the eD subs.

eD does have a good warranty - you may try sending it back to them for repair/replacement.

Go with an Alpine SWS1023 - fits nice and sounds nice.

I'm not too keen on using a eD sub either but it seems another forum member had the 10" and seemed to get good results. That was the only reason I was looking.

Alpine sounds good too, but would the sealed box volume: 0.65-1.5 cubic feet work okay with the box? Isn't the box 0.33 or something like that.

The box is 0.38 - it works great, add a little poly-fill to the enclosure to dampen it a bit (makes the sub think it is in a larger enclosure).
