what do y'all think of lucid's kenwood system? 6.5 and the rear panel kit, 3-way or 2-way, anyone got it installed in their car? How does it sound, does it got bass?

anyone got the kenwood system operated on their OEM cd-player, how does da sound and bass? decent enough?

Whats the average time for lucid to send you the stuff, from the time when you place the order till the day you receive it?

I just installed the 1377's in the back this past weekend. They sound great. I am using a Kenwood MP919 head unit to power the speakers. Just enough power for my taste. I will upgrade to a amp and run new speaker wire later this summer.

I have the 3-way system in my car. It's excellent - hooked to an amp. He's been REALLY busy lately (I guess its due to spring). Most of the time its about 7 days before it shipped but lately it may take up to 2 weeks. Top notch all the way though - worth any wait!

I have the high end 6.5's in the doors with the stock tweeters and the high end 2ways in the rear with the stock head unit. Much better sound and bass response but the head will need to be replaced for more power.

Just got the Kenwood rear panel speakers on Friday and installed them on Saturday. It only took about an hour. The sound is much better with the rear speakers. Now I am still waiting on the front door 6.5 Kenwoods. Lucid seems to be out of stock right now. Hopefully real soon I'll get them. With those, I'm sure everything will be great. I would recommend Lucid's system, and the Kenwood's are great for me and my tastes.

Just installed the Kenwood MP919 from Lucid with swix and the difference is night & day. I have the 2-way 60watt pionner door drop in's from Honda ,they sound pretty good might upgrade to Kenwood 3-way's in the front sometime in the future. Ordered the rear KW 3-way's will be here tomorrow....Cant wait .....The install was not that hard, the only problem I had was fitting the wires&swix behind the radio,it took a little time.

If you are thinking about replacing your head unit, don't think about it just do it...You will thank yourself a million times...

Lucid you have my Great product! Excellant service!
