Default What is a good tap-in?

I need to tap into a few ECM lines, but don't want to splice. Is this as good as anything or are there much better tap-ins? Supplier info will be welcome. TIA.

My personal preference is to NEVER use these types of taps.

I prefer to strip the wire you need to tap into and then wrap the wire you are trying to connect around the bare wire and solder the connection. Use good quality (Brand name stuff) electrical tape to insulate your work.

if you do use those, I find it best to also use a zip-tie to be sure it stays tight, but when messing with any fuel or engine, better safe than sorry----Go with the proper method, solder.....

It would suck to get stranded for saving a few minutes on the install.

On a side note, I used the blue tap in for some lights I put in the footwell and the drivers side likes to flivker on and off even woth a zip-tie around it..
