I know. I know leave it to the experts, but I really fancied having a try.

I tried to connect up my Snooper S6R Neo today and decided to run the detector into the area behind the grilles. Now the Cat 1 alarm doesn't work but the original key fob does, here's the story.

I detached the electronic power steering box from the car and disconnected one of the cables and removed the little black block between the EPS and the washer bottle (Relay Assy Power?!?) to give me more room to work. I then pushed some thin garden wire through the rubber grommet into the area above the drivers legs and pulled the extension cable through with it.

As I say, I can no longer do anything with the UK keyfob but the original one now works?!?

Any ideas.
