Default what should i get?

I'm sure this has been answered before...but its spring time and my s2000 is about to make its way out of the garage...I want to replace the stock speakers (and only the speakers) whats the best and easiest (to install) set to get? I want ones that will drop right in and sound great. I will not be replacing the head unit or adding rear speakers....just replacing the door ones.

pardon my french but if you do not get an aftermarket head unit and/or amp then no matter what speakers you install, they will sound like shit because they are not getting any power

You would want Excelon X178 for 01 drop in.

Rears are ideal (even the least expensive) otherwise you're wasting half your deck's power.

lucid, and what power is that deck going to give him? you agree that that deck is less then adequate for any kind of quality speakers? so you dont think its a waste of time to spend money on speakers of he's not going to get an amp and/or headunit ?

The X178s make best use of low power @ 93dB. He has a 2001 with paper cones which are poor to begin with and get much worse with age. It's a worthwhile upgrade and its also worthwhile to add the rears.
