Default Pioneer head w/oem speakers

I was just trying it out and the stock speakers weren't too bad. The new head has a little more power, and the sound was much improved.

A little more power?! Try more than double!

More power is amazing to those stocks. I tried that first and was amazed at the improvement.

Not that I'm going to keep this setup, but I was pleasantly surprised as well. I gave it a try after yunhokim said the stock speakers were good enough. I wonder how big of an amp can the stock speakers take?

I don't know how far they can go, but I'm using 35w/channel to the factory speakers. I don't think they are nearly as bad as some here make them out to be. Sure, they won't compete with $500 separates, but they aren't total trash either. Adding a bit of power makes them much more functional though.
