What are some good door speakers? I want to upgrade my stock ones. I dont want to go all out thoguh.

also, do you intend to power these from the OEM head unit? (*mumbles to self: please say no, please say no... *)

knee jerk reaction? as a generally pretty good speaker for a decent price? Infinity Reference Series 6.5" components 6000 CS (i think that's the model number). ~$150 street price... (can be had for more or less)

 

The MY 04 HU can just barely handle upgraded speakers. I think that the earlier models, such as your MY02, NEED new Headunits for anything close to desirable sound. If you get a good HU with ample power (such as a V-drive Alpine) you can adequately power decent front components.

Unfortunately your existing sound system has few retainable units. New speakers with the existing headunit will allow for only marginal gains.

 

Ya just a new CD player with Satalite radio and door speakers I guess ...
