These should be, and likely will be, illegal in every state. It's now illegal to watch porn on your in-car monitors. Rearview cameras will be probably be banned shortly. I'd opt for cutting up the dash before I got a mirror-mounted screen. The ones I've seen are pretty washed out in the day too.

 

Just got off the phone with a rep at Crutchfield and he said the Alpine IVA-D900(in dash DVD, CD, MP3) WILL FIT without the screen getting in the shifter's way.

Have them mail you a guarentee that it'll fit. And then take a lot of pictures when it doesn't fit with the car in gear. Then send it all back to them.

 

Right the robot on the other end of the phone is staring at the screen that the S has a single DIN spot so it will "fit" ...ask if they have ever been in an S2000

 

some of the CF guys know their stuff, but i KNOW they are basing fit on the DIN opening and not the dash shape.

i would only buy with a guarantee of paid RETURN SHIPPING IN WRITING.
