Default Where to buy speaker adapters

Just wondered where I can pick up a set of speaker adapters.

I know I could make some myself, but I don't have the tools to do workworking.

Are these any good?

Does someone sell MDF ones?

Thanks!

If anyone could confirm those work id go with them, or take the hit for us , if you use MDF youl need to weather proof them.

I wish some company would make so adapter rings like they do for Impreza's

They will probably work, but a few points to consider.

You'll want to make sure the inner mounting diameter of your cone will fit into the ring without modification. IIRC, the rings fit speakers with an inner diameter of up to 5.5". Any bigger than that and you will be sanding.

The other thing you want to consider is whether you care that your speakers are mounted into the door air tight. The adapters are constructed with two flat rings, separated 3/4" by those square posts you see in the pictures.

Yeah, being airtight was a bit of a concern of mine, using these adapters.

I did a search for "speaker spacer" on Ebay and found a bunch of them, cheap too.

Yeah, but I don't think any of those will fit the S2000 opening.
