I'm trying to make a back for the trunk to mount my amps on. Does anyone know where I can get carpet that matches the trunk carpet?

 

Pretty much any upholstery shop will have some, or will be able to order some. Might also want to check body shops.....they usually have a supplier.

Not the best quality pict because of garage lighting, but the panel that the distribution block is mounted on is carpeted with the stuff I mentioned. The rest is factory. I think it's very close.

Now, has anyone made a back wall for the trunk to mount amps on or anything like that? I took the spare out and I want that whole back area to be a wall and I want the middle of the wall to have a big hole in it. Like this:

Make sure whatever carpet you order is no the backed style as it will be to stiff. You want NON-backed carpet so you can stretch it around the side and corners.

 

w/Darkknight.....if you get the backed type, it has a plastic like backer, that makes it a PIA to deal with. many bloody fingers!
