Where do you put your ipod?

I made a holder for my ipod mini out of my cup holder, which fit perfect, but it works also with the nano.

I put mine in the "secret" compartment, connected to a Pioneer head unit. Works well, keeps it charged, etc.
And to the iPod hater, while I agree that music according to Apple is not perfect, iTunes is about 1000x times better than Musicmatch (or any other proprietary software that I've seen) and the accessaries/support for the iPod make it pretty compelling.
I don't have a full kit for my iPod, instead I just got that Monster cable and hooked it into the power outlet behind where your right elbow would be sitting. After that I just stick the iPod in the center console..seems to work just fine

it may be better than xxx software but it still forces some to totally rearrange the way they have their music in a format some dont like. quite frankly i prefer no software at all. i dont need anything to keep up with my music other than a folder.

i put mine back in bestbuy because iTunes sucks balls and the ipod wont play .wma which is my preferred format. i dotn think i should have to totally rearrange the way i set up my music to use something thats over-hyped.

My system is integrated with the PIE HON Auxilliary converter. It wears one of those silicone jackets and I simply put it on the opened door covering the head unit.
The jacket does not let it slide at all even on hard driving/canyon runs. I can easily hit forward or backward; of course changing albums will require picking up the ipod.

I guess the issue is that you chose WMA to begin with. Though I prefer AAC because it has higher quality and smaller file size than the other formats (128K AAC = 192K MP3), I would still choose MP3 over WMA just because it's a more accepted format. If you choose WMA on purpose, you're really pigeonholing yourself into a closed format with larger file sizes and lower quality.
