I' ve tought about this in the beginning when I had my car.
THe problem is that the trunk will not open or stay open, the springs will not hold the weight.
Has anybody done this before?

The amp is one of this series, but the 2 channel version, of 120wrms per channel. However I don't recall the exact name... I have to dig it up under the dust

It might be the VR209... not sure

Many people have done an install similar to mine. No overheating with this particular amp.
