Anyone know where to purchase JL Audio equipment (Amps, speakers, stealthboxes ...)? I have a quote from a local installer and I want to compare prices and negotiate a better deal if I can.

no authorized dealers for JL stuff online.

JL also has a very strict warranty policy wrt who you buy it from. if you buy it from an unauthorized source zero warranty for you from JL. if you buy it from a shop that is authorized, but install it yourself, you get a 90 day warranty only--if you take it back to the dealer they can "OK" the install and the warranty gets extended to 1 year.

if you have the JL dealer install it, then you get the full 1 year warranty.

all stuff to keep in mind. with that said, there are VERY few JL amps that go bad, same with speakers, maybe the subs I'd like to have the warranty.

if you want to compare prices, infinitecaraudio.com and onlinecarstereo.com have JL stuff sometimes. some of the online dealers will back it up themselves so they will handle any warranty issues with you instead of with JL.
