Hey Guys,

Can anyone answer this question. Is DIEHARD the main company or is it a brand name for the battery from a parent company? Thanks in advance.

 

Diehard is a Sears trademark but the batteries are manufactured
by other companies under contract. I'm fairly sure they've been
made by Exide and Johnson Controls at various times, and probably
others.

 

By the lowest bidder for the duration of the contract....

I work for an advertising firm, and one of our clients makes "battery separators" and one of my coworkers is doing research on them. She asked me the DIEHARD question. I told her I knew some people that might know.
