Yeah that's true but you really can't compare the two. The CM sub is by far a better sub.

I wouldn't argue with that. It would be kind of interesting to compare the two mounted in an S2000 at 70 MPH, though...not sure it'd be double the fun...

By the way, do you know whether a 12" (Pio, CM or other) will fit in the toolbox area you're working with? Or is the opening just too small?

It might, but a 10" should be enough. I've heard 12's and 10's inthe S and honestly you can't hear the difference between them.

For this GB it will be a 10" though.

Ok so I've had quite a few people request I start making and selling the screen mount I have in my car... So for those that are interested I'll be going ahead with making the top mounted screen location in a GB.

IE this:

The camera:

The screen can only be so wide and still have the sunvisors still work so I'll be looking at a few different screens and seeing what will work best for most people. I have the Alpine TME-M580. I may use that but I'm gonna check out a few different screens. The screens can't be much bigger than that one. Dave requested I do this with a screen that is 7"'s wide but I don't think I can use that and still have the sunvisors work... and I want to build theseso that those will still work.

The kit will come with the custom mount (molded ABS/fiberglass and repainted to match the stock trim), the screen, a rearview camera (either a keyhole type or the license plate mounted style) and of course the wiring to wire the camera to the screen. I may also make available a full wiring kit... but I first need to see the final price and see what's totally involved with getting this going. I say that because I have 2 spare overhead trim panels that I've picked up. Both of these will be used to make these panels and be shipped out. However those of you that buy this product must also ship me back your upper trim panel in the box I shipped you the finished panel in.

The price will be determend at a later date so please don't ask as I don't know yet. One thing at a time... I would like to get a count of who's interested.

This doesn't mean I won't be doing the new sub box... I'm just working on this first.

John is there any way to have this replace the mirror? I would like for the screen to look like a rearview mirror. Also, looking forward to the sub!
