Default Window Not Working

I bought a 2000 s2k a few weeks ago, and was told by the owner that the passenger window had been stuck down for several months. The car has been sitting in my shop and the car needed attention else where before I began tackling that issue. Well this past weekend I scored a ton of parts cheap from another wrecked s2k with 50,xxx miles. I got two complete doors that I confirmed worked perfectly before I removed them. So I got home installed the new passenger door, and now the window still will not roll up. I preceded to checking the interior fuses and the fuses under the hood, swapped fuses around and still nothing. All the fuses were good. I guess the next step would be to remove the door panel and put direct power to the motor to see what happens? Is there anything I am missing here? Yes I tried rolling it up with the driver door switch. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This happened to me once. I removed the door panel and found out the motor wasn't receiving any power. Long story short, a connection at a plug was loose thus breaking the circuit. It was located underneath the passenger dash.

Are you talking about the main wire loom (that is grey) coming from the door had a loose connection? Or is there another plug I am missing further into the dash?

There is a plug underneath the dash and on it was a loose wire which was the reason my windows weren't working. I forget what color it was, this was about two years ago.

Child safety switch is in the correct position? This does lock both drivers and passengers ability to raise the window.

You are referring to the window lock switch located on the driver door? When I roll up the windows at the same time (or not), drivers side rolls up and down fine, it is just the passenger side.

Sounds like the person above is referring to the convertible top module which is found under the passenger dash panel.

Well guys I solved the problem..got home yesterday evening and checked all the connections underneath the dash etc for the passenger door. Everything was fine, window was still not going up...got pissed off and said screw it. So instead I continued installing my new interior then preceded to removing the old drivers side door and installing the new one. Finished installing and both windows go up now! The best reasoning I can come up with for the passenger window not working, was due to a faulty master switch on the drivers side door. All is good now though, thanks everyone for the help.

Sweet! Well at least that is now taken care of, I would have had that in the back of my mind if it still wasn't working.
