Default Wiring harness for headrest speakers

Ok so i picked up a s2k a month ago and it came with the speakers in the head rest. However they werent installed because he didnt have the wiring harness that goes from the speakers to the head unit. I was wondering where i could pick those up, if from some one on the forum or w.e. OR if its possible to make your own. Also what is the purpose of the AUX botton on the factory head unit? Is there a input somewhere in the car that i am missing?

AUX is for an aftermarket CD changer.

Is the car equipped with S-Pods, or some other kind of speaker mount? In any event, it wouldn't be a harness as such, but wiring run from whatever is (or should be) powering them. Unless the speakers are EXTREMELY efficient, you're likely to find the head unit inadequate to power both them and the door speakers (and you could easily cause the HU amp to clip). If I were you, I'd rethink the whole audio system and consider adding a new HU and/or a 4-channel amp to power all the speakers. BTW, what MY do you have?

alright im not stupid or anything, but what exactly is "S PODS" and speaker mounts? i already have them mounted they just need to get power and a signal from the HU so that the speakers can be powered. BTW, i am getting a new HU. am i going to be able to run all six speakers in the car. or do i have to set up some differently. just incase this matters its a 05. The headrest speakers were a factory option for the car. they just dont have the wire going from the HU to the speaker.

Both the standard HU and the the new HU you are buying will have an output for rear speakers. This is operated by the fader. With an Alpine head it is usually 50W x 4.

You just need to hookup wires and run them along each side of the centre consol (pop the plastic fixings out and push the wire up over the top of the carpet)

Run the wires right to the back and under the rear trims behind the seats and then loop them down to the bottom of the seats.

Then the tricky bit. Get a wire coathanger and straighten it out. Make a small tight loop at one end with no sharp edges. Then push the coathanger up the back of the seat back at the seam position (between covering and seat back). When you have worked it out of the top of the seat you can then pull a suitable wire down through the seat. Add a connector at the join of the two wires so you can remove the seat without cutting the wire at a later date if you need to.

Pdf here of fitting instructions for Honda headrest speakers - seems they should come with a wiring kit.

Dragging up this old topic because I recently bought a set of used OEM Headrest speakers for my 2004 S2000.

However, I only got the speaker pods and the wires coming out of them - I have installed these and run the wires down to under the seats, and I have found the 4-pin connector under the dash - however, I did not get the harness to connect to the two plugs from each speaker to this plug under the dash.

Can this be bought seperately? Does anyone happen to have the part # for them?

Here's a link to the factory installation instructions.
There does not appear to be a separate part number for the harness.
