Wiring LED to E Brake to only
Well I want to install an LED into the interior door handles of my car and have them only come on when the E Brake is pulled so passengers can see the door handle and get out with attacking my door panel.
Would wiring it to the E brake wire allow this to work or what would I have to wire it to?
I am not too familiar with wiring and all. Know how to do it but don't know terms and stuff so please keep it simple lol.
Any help would be appreciated.
I got 5mm 180 degree viewing angle led's so should look good I think.
I am just going to drill a small hole in the door hadle hole cover or back or whatever you would call it haha.

Maplights.. tap into those.. thats what i did in my TL.. I dont remember if the s2k map lights fade when you lock it..
If you wire it to your map lights they will turn on and off whenever they are activated with the main switch..

Well that would be on all the time or when the door is opened but the reason I am doing them is so you can see the door knob to open the door so would be pointless to come on ONCE you open it hahah.
But seems like the E brake when pulled creates a ground so that the light on the dash goes on so if I connect the ground to the E brake and then connect to the cig lighter or other power source like that I should be good to go I believe.
