Default Wiring Question

I want to install a Pioneer monitor in my car and have the "brain" under the seat. Can I wire the brain through the back and connect it to my amp without any problems? I can connect the yellow to the power wire, the red to the amp turn on, and the ground to the amp ground, right? thanks

might need to use a inline fuse for all power connections, also you might need a relay for the red wire.

The unit comes with inline fuses. What relay do I need? I'm guessing I connect the yellow (memory) to the thick power cable and the red connects to the amp turn on lead. Is that correct?

I'm not sure I'd use the amp turn-on lead - it carries very little current and
is only intended for signaling. If your red wire has an inline fuse, that's a
good sign that it'll need way more current than the turn-on lead can supply.
You could do it with the turn-on leading to a relay as mentioned, but I'd
probably just run a wire from the front.
