Wiring Speaker Wire from Amp to Stock Wiring

Wiring Speaker Wire from Amp to Stock Wiring
Title pretty much sums it up. Is this wise? I don't believe I'll ever be pushing out the maximum power of the amplifier but I kinda wanna make sure it's idiot proof for any future owners.
I've basically soldered the speaker wires from the amplifier to the stock speaker wiring (FL+,FR+,FL-,FR-)
I know my best bet is to run the speaker wire through the door grommet and connect it straight to my Hertz crossovers but that seems like a massive pain in the ass.
tl;dr, can I get away with this for now/forever or should I man up and run the speaker wires directly through the door?
Hoping this question hasn't been asked before

Look, it's actually pretty easy to pull wires through the door grommet. Just take a stiff coat hanger and straighten out one end. Reach inside the door from the speaker opening, place the pointy end of the coat hanger into the rubber wire bundle, and carefully push it through until it penetrates into the footwell area. Then bend the tip into a hook, use that to attach your speaker wire securely with some electrical tape. Apply some grease to the speaker wire and pull the coat hanger back out the speaker hole. Presto.

Thanks man, I'm an audio engineer by trade so I'm not used to doing a shitty job when it comes to anything audio related.
I'll have to solder on another metre or two to the left door (passenger), but other then that should all be good.
Cheers
