Gernby,

Did you see the reply on the hondata forums? Hondata listed all changes for the s2000 with dates and is unsure how it could have affected us. They are testing on their s2000 to be sure. Maybe you could post your findings on there also.

1) Went for emissions and failed with 2 not readiness sensors completed

2) came home and plug in hondata and drove around and still not completed

3) removed negative battery terminal for 30min and plug up hondata and showed 3 not readiness completed

4) updated hondata to the new firmware 1.9.1

5) located the Dyno's map which was given to me by previous owner

6) checked the calibrations and all sensors were enabled and nothing was disable besides the VSA (not sure why since I own a 08 Model)

7) flashed the old map to the ECU using the new firmware and software which was downloaded

8) still showed 3 not readiness completed

9) Drive Cycle 1: gas was around 60%, started car, idle for 20 seconds, raise rpm to 2k for 4 bars to show up on the temp gauge, release gas and idle for 20 seconds, then went for a spin on the highway for about 25 miles, speed was between 50-60mph (5th gear only)

10) came home and saw 2 readiness codes not completed

11) drive cycle 2 was the same as step 9 reaching about 55 miles gas was at 40% (filled up gas after the drive cycle new gas at 88%)

12) drive cycle 3 was just cruising around town nothing too big normal speeds and never broke 6th gear again after parking the car the gas was around 77%

13) drive cycle 4 did not follow the readiness procedure and took the car to work for about 55 mile drive, speeds were 70-80mph (6th gear), and parked the car at work and showed 2 readiness not completed miles at 108 miles completed so far after the DTC cleared/rom was flashed (dynoed)

14) walk to the car after work around 5pm with the temperatures showing at 100 degrees, and cranked the car up and hooked up hondata and showed that 1 readiness code was not completed which was the CAT

hope this helps to anyone, I suggest downloading the new firmware and software then opening the old map on there and flash the map onto the ECU and then try to set the readiness maybe it will work for you.

I posted in one of the readiness hondata forums years ago with the same issues. Hondata said it wasn't due to them. I was stock tuned back then and never could get it resolved.
