Has anyone considered that the reason they don't have a AccessPort or the new FlashPro for the DBW S2000 is due to the fact that it might not be flashable via the OBD II port?

Just a thought.

I have a feeling Cobb will be able to figure something out.

I'd be really curious to see what Cobb has to say about that actually.

I'm aware of that but both products require you to connect the unit the OBD II Port.

Maybe, just maybe, the DBW S2000 ECU can not be flashed this way.

I think you have it backwards, the non dbw s2000's aren't flashable. Or so hondata says

wow this is painful.

Flash Pro connects via OBD Port

AccessPort connects via OBD Port

Maybe (pay attention here) you can't program/flash a 2006-10 Drive By Wire Honda S2000 ECU via the OBD Port.

This maybe a good point, but the guys at Cobb don't seem to worried.

"We have no plans at this time to add the s2000 to our list of supported vehicles... although it is a good idea. If perhaps we saw a flood of requests it would be possible but would probably take a year or so to develop."

The quote implies it is possible.

I had one for my WRX, and it was fantastic. If they can make it work with my 05, I'll put my money down on day one.
