Default AEM EMS v.2 fuel gauge?

Does the fuel gauge run off the AEM or is it just wired directly to sender? '01 car.

Reason I ask is - ever since installation of KW SC and AEM, my fuel gauge never reads less than 2 bars and my low fuel light never comes on anymore.

Ran out of gas once.

IS the solution a simple re-calibration of the EMS or does the sender need to be taken out and physically tweaked?

Thanks

Did you upgrade the fuel pump too when the SC was fitted? I had a similar issue due to a poor fitting of the arm/sender when the pump was reinstalled, (it was actually floating in the fuel tank when inspected and not moving freely). I don't believe the fuel level goes through AEM at all.

Yes, the fuel pump was changed when SC was installed. Thanks - looks like the sender arm needs to be tweaked.
