Aem EMS V1 02 Feedback
Hey guys, my car is an 01 with an AEM EMS v1. The car was tuned months ago and all went well aside from my Innovate MTX-L not wanting to communicate with the EMS. Finally bought a laptop last night to start trouble shooting and found out the #1 02 driver/input is possibly damaged. With no wire attached at C16 the ems reads 2.29v and stays there. I tested voltage from my mtx-l output and it was functioning fine, voltage was moving with afr. So I landed my output from the MTX-L to #2 02 and set the gain. Now I have perfect sync between the wideband and the ems. Problem is the #1 02 is still locked at 2.29v and for the life of me I have yet to find how to ignore that sensor and take feedback from #2 solely. I'm assuming thats possible, I've been reading through the aem pro guide v3 I found online and it explains how to change various parameters and such but I couldn't find where to ignore a sensor or if its possible. The car has been running great but my AFR at idle is fluctuating alot from 12.3-13.9 or so and the fuel smell is gonna kill someone. I dont mind the mileage loss as I dont daily the car but it would be nice to be able to allow the car to warmup in the garage without worrying of a fire. Thanks for the help!
Found the answer out myself and am deciding to leave it here to help anyone else out who has a similar issue. I am using AEMPro v1.0 with a V1.19 firmware 1052U. To select which 02 or multiple 02 inputs control your 02 feedback you go to the Options button at the top, inbetween transmission and view. Then click on Injector at the top. This will give you options for each injector, I went through 1-4 and set 02 feedback from #1 02 to only #2 02 as that is the only one functioning properly for me. It also has the option for EGT feedback there aswell. Hope this helps someone.
I'm having the same exact issue. I was thinking about trying the #2 input to see if that somehow worked. Have you stayed with the #2 input or did you ever figure out what was wrong with #1? Either way thanks for posting this info. I've been trying to find someone who has experienced the same thing.
