AEM SERIES 2 HELP WITH WIDEBAND CONFUSION
Hi,
Here where the confusion lies, and what I think is right if someone can confirm?
Recently go the AEM system gauge +wideband (30-4100) correct me if I'm wrong but it has the controller built in (in the gauge its self) and i think this is all that is needed to log/tune/use in the EMS SERIES 2 and to display the AFR on the gauge???.
And also have the inline controller (30-2310) on its own obviously but it does the same thing except it doesnt have a gauge attached to it, so essentially I have two kinda of controllers with two sensors attached which do the same thing!!?!
In the EMS when i select digital gauge ie the gauge (30-4100) it just brings that up in the list, however when i select the inline controller 30-2310 it brings that up and '4 channel uego' and 'analog gauge' automatically - i cannot change that.
SO 'i think' at this moment intime just need the aem gauge system (30-4100) attached and wire(s) from it go to the EMS? and just chose 'digital guage (30-4100)' in the EMS for O2 #1?
Thanks

Pick whether you want gauge or no gauge.
Connect to ems as described in the instructions. Open your calibration or basemap in aemtuner (hopefully you have the latest version and are running the newest firmware). Using the wizard, add either the gauge or ems. there is a hidden tab (default) for wideband feedback (open loop) control. The wizard will automatically enable o2 feedback, o2 1 channel, and the target afr table needs to be setup.
I personally have the inline uego, I setup a calibration from scratch basemap so I know it works. Hth
