Default Another KPro AP1 question- "remove old crank sensor wiring"

I am not sure if these instructions mean to just remove the old wiring that is attached to the timing cover up to the connector, in order to route the new sensor/wiring, or whether they mean to remove it more extensively. I know leaving the actual wire in place won't cause a problem, but am I supposed to be removing the pins at the ECU for the old TDC sensor and crank sensor? Will leaving them in place cause a problem? My intuition says no, since the Hondata is reading the new sensors from the other connector's pins.

EDIT: for anyone else doing the Kpro-into-Ap1 install, my friend/mechanic said we did NOT need to remove the oil pan and that it was a waste of time!

Well, it is up and running smoothly so I guess there is no need to remove any extra wiring or to de-pin at the ECU connectors!
