Shout out to @AP1Chief (JM Tuning on Facebook) for doing me up a solid tune yesterday! His communication was on point, and his timing was perfect too. I literally just installed my AEM Series 2 ECU 2 days ago and yesterday when I sent him the pics on Facebook, he replied. Then and there we began tuning
An hour or so later I was VTEC'ng! He got her to idle well in about 10 mins from start up and from there he proceeded to fine tune her vitals. She's ripping it up now I could not believe that the AP1 throttle response could get better than stock but it is! It feels so crisp, smooth and "clean" if I can call it that. 2 step activated - holy shit that's fun and brutal! Lowered VTEC to about 4500 and that makes a world of difference (no drop off before it kicks in)! And yeah, I still feel her kick hard when engaging I have not been to a local dyno yet but according to Chief's VD she's putting down 200/130 (I'm well above sea level) and he said his VD is on the stingy side

Soon enough he'll do me up a supercharged tune

All in all Josh is a pleasure to work with and he KNOWS AEM Tuner inside and out! I highly recommend him to any S2K owner looking to tune their ride.

 

I can vouch for @AP1Chief I keep saying he is one of the best tuners for the s2000 and his pricing is great. I try my best to send all my friends to him. lol

also on a ap1chief aka JMtuning tune on my time attack car. he really knocked it out of the park... 10/10 recommend

 

Yeah his tuning is very good and he even sorted out the long cranking time on my car. I noticed on the second day it would take long to start when cold. Told him about and he went in to change the crank advance from 8 to 0. She starts faster now but not as fast as with stock ECU when cold. A second or so longer I would say.
