I got my boomslang harress but I still haven't got the neo yet. I was going to go on and install the harness and wait on the neo. I plugged everything up and then started the car. the car ran for about 15 seconds and died. took the harrness off and pluged everything back up the way it was and it ran fine.

My question is does the neo have to be plugged in to run the car with the harness or is there somthing wrong with my harness (i got it used off here)

You cannot use the harness without the NEO connected, since the MAP sensor passes through the NEO. If the NEO isn't installed, then the ECU won't be able to read the MAP sensor.
