Default DocTronics Plug & Play Honda S2000 ECU for 2000-05 Models

Hello everyone!

For some time now an ECU solution for 2000-2005 S2000s have only been EMS, Infinity and Hondata KPro.

EMS and infinity are very nice with all of their functions, but the lack of OBD2 port connection and cel makes it much more suitable for Race cars versus street cars.

Hondata Kpro is an excellent solution. Using a Honda K series ECU modified to be used for an S2000. All the pros of ecu mapping and daily functions of the Honda ECU make this a real winner. The biggest inconvenience is the necessity to convert the cam sensor, crank sensor and valve cover along with the pick up wheels. Its a lot of work to convert and when come time for smog, difficult to revert back.

Doctronics, located out of Austria have been able to provide us with a K Series ECU, much like Hondata Kpro, without having to convert the cam and crank sensors. They have cleverly created a Mag to Hall signal converter and a jumper harness to mate a re-programmable K ECU for the use of our 2000-05 model S2000. This unit is called ProECU-S2K

If you are familiar with Kpro software, then you can handle the new software created by them. Very easy to understand and simply plugs right into the stock engine harness. Supports Supercharge, Turbo, and Nitrous applications just like competing software solutions.

We at Ballade Sports have become direct distributors to this revolutionary ECU managment and would like to share their features:

We at Ballade Sports have tested this software and ECU ourselves on our standard F20C/F22C engines and our K24 I-Vtec S2000. We are very impressed with its capabilities and ease of use. It is compatible with K series engines along with F20/22/24 engine platforms.

We are still looking into this support. We personally have not tried with this ECU setup yet. Wideband is supported for additional fees.

1) Do you retain the OBD port? will it scan with an emissions tester?

2) can you set readiness like in Kpro (for k series) to pass emissions?
