Default EMS for turbo tuning

Hey guys I am new to the forums and s2k's and I am looking for some information on tuning. I sold my 2008 civic si which was running 15psi boost to buy an s2000 but I am missing the torque and started hunting down a turbo kit for my AP1. I know that flashpro is not available for the AP1 which leaves me looking for the best bang for the buck EMS to tune a turbo with. AEM v2 and Kpro are really expensive so im looking at other alternatives to keep down cost. I dont care about smog but it would be nice to keep the CEL function. Thanks!

the closest thing to a bang for buck standalone would be an aem series 1 ecu. your best bet would be haltech, aem series 2 or kpro. all three of those options will run you $1000 new or used. you can find an aem series 1 under 1000 though.

as far as the CEL function goes, the only ones that will keep that are kpro and haltech.

I am in the process of converting my ap1 to a drive by wire ap2 setup with then hondata management.
I have a open box sale for a arm EMS series 2 30-6052 on eBay. http://bit.ly/10YO53j
I know they are hard to find at a reasonable price, listed opening bid for $850.
