A few super basic tuning questions
hey guys, i have a few (what i think are) simple tuning questions that i cant find answers to.
some info first,
My00, FIPK intake, JVT racing headers, stock cat, T1R 70R-EM sparrow dual exhaust, everything else pretty much stock
i dont have much knowledge or experience in tuning hondas, but i have a lot of experience with megasquirt, im not sure if anyone is familiar with it but its a 'build-it-yourself' completely open-source engine management system that I worked with to tune and run a gsxr600 bike motor
my questions,
1. Is there much to be gained by 'tuning'? i beleive there should be, because Type 1 Racing claims 10+hp gains from their exhaust, plus the intake and headers i should have gained some power but i really dont feel much a difference and im assuming i need a tune to really get anything out of my mods
2. Say i want to 'tune' my s. HOW? where do i start? when people "dyno tune" do you just bring your car to a tuning place and tune the stock ecu or is the stock ecu untouchable and you NEED an aftermarket ecu to tune?
3. i see alot of stuff about flashpro, its my understanding that its only available for ap2's. is this correct? if so, how do people go about tuning their ap1s?
if somebody could just point me somewhere i could see

i know its probably a lot harder than that, but ive gone through the first 18 pages of this forum as well as the NA forum and im still pretty clueless. any help is greatly appreciated
