Default Flashpro

Im going FI around march and I was thinking of picking up the Flashpro ahead of time. My question is...will I need to get the car tuned or will the preloaded "tuned" maps show gains? My modds are k&n intake,T1R TP,T1R EM exhaust.

^I believe the pre-loaded maps will show gains, just like if you had gotten a reflash. Having it tuned further will bring out the most power for your specific vehicle.

Might as well get it now even if it's just to lower VTEC a bit and raise the rev limit to 8500. Both of those things really make a significant difference.

Can it raise the rev limit to more than 9000k if you have an AP1?

upload it, drive, datalog and tune if need be. That's the whole purpose of buying a standalone right? (the ability of fine tuning your vehicle and having the ability to change important settings, etc..)
