anyone rev their f22 to 9k?
I know most of the guys in here are running aem and emanages and I was wondering if anyone raised the redline on their 2.2 liter to 9k or even 8.5k.
the reason I ask is because I was going to do the swap on my ap1 and I wanna know if the motor can handle a 9k redline. if there are people boosting to 8.5-9k then n/a would be no prob.
thanks,
Sam

the e-manage ultimate is supposed to be able to raise the redline.
This is in the FI forum...if you want more power on the 2.2L just turn up the boost...it'll probably be more reliable for you than raising the redline(and generate more power).
If you're not FI then you'll get a better response elsewhere.

I 've been runnin on an ap1 ecu for about 6 months reving to 8500 without any problems.........yet. There is a few others here as well that swapped out AP2 ecu's for AP1 to change the redline.
