FlashPro O2 cat delete
#112
I'm picking up an 06 tonight and the Flashpro will be here on Monday. I've never dealt with a TSB before so my question to others is: Can I take the car over to the dealer tomorrow and have the O2 sensor replaced before the CEL comes on? I really don't want to throw my I/H/E stuff on the car and have to wait for the CEL before I take it to the dealer...

You have to have the issue. The TSB is just instructions for when the issue shows up. Emissions is 8years 80k miles from what I remember.
It could have already been replaced..

To see if it has been replaced you can look at the jacket color, mine was blue and is some other color green, orange or something like that (I'm color blind)
if it's blue you can take it to the dealer and tell them that you've had to reset the cell several times and give them the cel code. If they're nice then they'll look it up to see if it's been done yet and if not then they'll replace it. It's easy money for them so I'm sure they'll do it.

^yes, this doesn't seem to be an issue with every car.

I can see it now. Honda does the nice thing and replaces it and the new one has the issue..
If it isn't broken, don't fix it.

Where does it say the part was updated? The ECU software was re-flashed with an update.
The only one were the part was changed was the Hondata Fit.
The 02 sensor was being damaged by moisture. This could change depending on environmental conditions.
