I have no idea why those tables are even there, and honestly don't think they do anything. I know my AFRs at WOT are nowhere close to what are in those tables.

I'm picking up an 06 tonight and the Flashpro will be here on Monday. I've never dealt with a TSB before so my question to others is: Can I take the car over to the dealer tomorrow and have the O2 sensor replaced before the CEL comes on? I really don't want to throw my I/H/E stuff on the car and have to wait for the CEL before I take it to the dealer...

You have to have the issue. The TSB is just instructions for when the issue shows up. Emissions is 8years 80k miles from what I remember.

It could have already been replaced..

To see if it has been replaced you can look at the jacket color, mine was blue and is some other color green, orange or something like that (I'm color blind)
if it's blue you can take it to the dealer and tell them that you've had to reset the cell several times and give them the cel code. If they're nice then they'll look it up to see if it's been done yet and if not then they'll replace it. It's easy money for them so I'm sure they'll do it.

Yeah this is what I'm thinking - I can just tell them that I've already reset it. The guy I'm buying the car from has had all the work done at our local dealership (including oil changes) and has receipts for everything - I'll have to check them out tonight.

I really don't think cheating Honda is the "right" thing to do here. There's no reason to try getting Honda to fix something that isn't broken.

I can see it now. Honda does the nice thing and replaces it and the new one has the issue..

If it isn't broken, don't fix it.

^yes, this doesn't seem to be an issue with every car.

Its an updated part. Why would it be updated and on the TSB if there is nothing wrong? Just asking...

Where does it say the part was updated? The ECU software was re-flashed with an update.

The only one were the part was changed was the Hondata Fit.

The 02 sensor was being damaged by moisture. This could change depending on environmental conditions.
