Hi guys, Talk a few times in this post, finally flashed my S2k.

It's a MY 06 and I've used the stock tune version that comes with the flashpro, never use anything else.

I don't know if i'm lucky, but never got any cell at all and it's been 1000 miles that i'm rolling this map now... my car has 35000 miles. The only mods that I have so far are the hondata gasket for the intake and the throttle (and I do recommand this mod to anybody) and the spoon sports replacement filter.

Like some people said, for a non known reason some gets cells and some don't... Guess there something we all don't understand about this isue...

Anyway i'm pretty happy about the fact that everythig work fine without cell...
You have a big bore throttle body? And recommend it?!? Who did you get it from?

I just tried out the Science of Speed Big Bore TB om my '08, and it did NOTHING. I actually think it reduced power based on my before / after testing.

I think he meant he had a hondata gasket for his throttle body... not a new throttle body. FWIW, those gaskets have melted and failed on cars that get tracked.

Bump from the dead! Anyways I just flashproed my stock 07 with the stock "tuned" map and the P2A00 cel came on. I know I gotta change the o2 sensor, my question is how difficult is it. Do I need any special tool or what not. Car is out of warranty. Getting an appointment with my local Honda dealer has a two week lead time, dropping the car for the whole day, taking mass transit back and forth, etc... I rather do it myself to save the time and frustration. Thanks.

I think the hardest part is removing the clips and the connector. Other than that it's super easy.

Thanks, according to the tsb there is two part to replace.

S2000:P/N 36531-PZX-003, H/C 8199630. The first part number is the o2 sensor on the header, what is the second part number? I tried looking that number up at a couple of Honda parts shops online and came back empty. Please advise. Also not that it matters but the o2 sensor got a supersede part number. It is now 36531-PZX-013. Not sure if there is any major difference between the two sensors. I try to post pic if there is any difference when I get the part.

Hi,
what does stock ECU do, when engine check is on? Where could I find an explation of what happen. I'm running my car since 2 month with engine light on cause cat broken. Car goes well for a daily driven but I noticed minus performance on track and in comparison with other s2000 in acceleration, is it possible that I'm loosing HP, with this recovery configuration of the ECU?

Thanks

In what way is your cat "broken"? If it's clogged, then that would certainly reduce performance. If it's been replaced with a test pipe, then the CEL may be causing the ECU to run rich, in an effort to ignite the cat.

I don't know if clogged.... if I remove O2 sensor (which is broken), from the hole, I see the internal ceramic moving around, I suppose that it's broken , but I don't know if it is still working fine or bad... the rattle is obviusly present (do to the cat and broken sensor inside).
Man, I would expect that to perform really well!
