FlashPro review thread
VTEC engagement is totally dependant on what mods you have. Mine is stock except for a PWJDM intake, so I was only able to lower VTEC to 5500 RPMs. If I went below that, I could feel a dip in power.
I didn't change the top of the VTEC window, and really can't think of any reason why I would. If you're at very light throttle at 5500 RPMs, it's probably better to stay on the low cam profile.

I got my FlashPro late in the day on 11/11/09. I figured it would be too much trouble to mess with it that night, so I waited until the next day. However, it just took a few minutes, to do my first flash! I went with the "S2000-US-2-Tuned" calibration since my only real mod is a PWJDM intake.
The car started easy, idled fine, drove great, and had as smooth of a power band as anything I was ever able to achieve with a VAFC. When I got back home after my first drive, I downloaded the datalogs, and started what I thought was going to be a long tuning process. Thankfully, the FlashProManager really makes that quick and easy! I made some quick changes to the fuel maps based on the suggestions made by the software, reflashed the ECU again, and went for another test drive.
I was expecting this drive to be less impressive since it was my first attempt at tuning it myself. However, it was even better than before! Great power, smooth VTEC transition, and 8500 RPMs. When I got back home and analyzed my datalogs again, everything was almost perfect. I just needed to make little 1-2% adjustments here and there, and I was done.
How many other FlashPro owners are out there? What were your tuning strategies? Please share your experiences.

I also got the flash pro this week. I really like how easy it is to use and do adjustments. I wish the help files where a little more detailed and had more tuning tips for the s2000. I have no tuning experience but the flash pro manager is set up so you can see everything going on in your motor. Now i dont have to worry about my af ratios getting to lean or rich with added bolt ons. I just wish they would release some more calibrations with exhaust tunes.
for another great product from hondata.

do u feel the improved midrange? and also does it take away some of the throttle hesitation the 06 and up sometimes experience? thanks
I really would like to see a log from the Hondata logger. I want to see the following parameters logged: Load, timing, AFR, rpm, and knock count.
I want to get a unit, but I want to see logs first. Can the Flashpro export data in csv format? It it can then it should be easy to post a log.
If you e-mail it to me at ndahi@charter.net, then I will host it n my site and post a link here.
