Default Flashpro unlock

So, a local guy advertised his Flashpro for sale, saying that he has traded in his S. I asked if he had unlocked it, and he said no. I don't think he understood that it would be necessary. But now the car is gone. Is there any way to get it unlocked?

I suggested they might be willing to unlock it for him if he could prove that the car had been traded in, but I have no idea if that would work. Any experiences either way would be beneficial. Thanks!

If Hondata unlocked it for him without forcing him to return the other car back to stock, that would be like giving a "buy one get one free" discount. The guy just needs to realize that his FlashPro went with the car, even though he still has the box.

True enough. I can't believe he did that. Was hoping to buy it from him but oh well!

He should still ask Hondata, since it occurred to me that they might unlock it for a fee. It seems like it would be fair to unlock it for the price of their regular reflash.
