gettin a kpro...now what?

^^^i didnt spend any money yet for the kpro.

i already have a rsx-s ecu. now i send it to hondata for 450 so they can do there magic and it comes back with brackets and harness.... correct?



ok, last thing is buyin all the oem stuff, which i already know about.... so is that it?

the rsx ecu that you have is already kpro'ed or just a "stock" rsx ecu? what year is your s2k, 2001? how much did you pay for the rsx ecu that you have?

if it's not already kpro'ed by hondata they will charge you $1,395 for kpro, harness and bracket if you supply the rsx ecu. if hondata supplies the ecu the cost is $1,795.

the $450 is just to re-program an existing kpro rsx ecu plus they give the needed harness and mouning bracket...

oh!!!! ok now! everthing makes sence!


the rsx ecu is stock. got it for 200 bucks and yeah my car is a 2001. everything makes sense now... thanks!

$800 - the same price you said a dude offered you already.


so you still have 2 options. send your stock rsx ecu ( that you paid $200 for) in to hondata along with $1,395

or

buy the an $800 kpro'ed ecu and send it to hondata along with $450, then sale the stock rsx ecu for $250-$300.

on the second option, when u said $800 kpro'ed ecu.... it has to be the 02-04 rsx rite?

im probably just gona look around for a kpro'ed ecu from a rsx and send it.

rsx kpro is a sure deal and certain civics. i would call/email hondata to see if they can reprogram other kpro'ed ecus.
