Going from greddy blue to aem 1052
I have bought a used 1052 off another member of the s2ki site. I am a novice when it comes to technical things such as engine management. My questions are:
1. When I toss out the blue the factory harness should still be intact right?
2. I believe this has a built in wideband sensor. Any way to know for sure so I don't waste money on the serial gauge.
3. If I do have to get a wideband, where do I install it?
Thanks,
Josh

If u have 1052= no wideband
1052u = wideband and there is a plug for it, it should come with the o2 sensor as well. Wideband should be installed in the downpipe somewhere. I'm not sure if 6" or 12" behinf the turbo is correct but mine is near the tp at the end of the dp

check where the wideband pins in on the 1052... on the 1012(what i have) it pins into the c16 pin which is the same pin as the stock pre-cat narrowband sensor so you can have one or the other plugged in at the one time.
the only time this matters is if you need the stock o2 to pass inspection. you will need to do rewire the system when it comes time for inspection.
to circumvent this you can have a switch that controls which pulse the ecu receives or wire the wideband into one of the user input pins and configure the ems to pull the signal from there.
