Help........ hondata reflash TODA

205 horsepower isn't a rating of "faster."
Like people said, a brilliantly tuned car will feel "boring."
Your body is set to sense changes in acceleration, not speed. That's why an airplane takeoff feels docile.
Peak horsepower is pretty worthless in this car. It's the area under the curve. I'd take a car with 150whp all throughout the powerband than a car that only makes big numbers up top.

Simple fact is, this car is pretty well tuned from the factory. There's pretty much no bolt on and plug in combination of mods short of FI that is going to be felt by the butt dyno.
And dynos are for tuning not for singular peak numbers.

Randy,
The peak HP number on the dyno numbers are NOT going to be improved by the reflash over stock. This was well documented by Hondata.
You also have to consider the differences between the dyno machine that Hondata used for their test versus the one that you used for your test. Hondata's test was done on a Dynapack, which gives the highest number of all. A single car that dyno's 240 on a Dynapack, might do 210 on a DynoJet or 195 on a Mustang dyno.
The fact that you didn't do before / after dynos means that your dyno numbers are absolutely meaningless.

Some obvious questions need answering:
- do you do a before and after dyno (fairly easy to do, just upload a return to stock calibration)?
- was the calibration tuned at all?
If the calibration has been tuned it is possible to make the same power as stock, but not less.
