Hondata to AEM Infinity
#11
I'm running the Infinity6 on my '06. I used the K series trigger profile, and synced the timing. Works perfect.
Having tuned cars on Kpro/S300/Flashpro and Infinity, I can sympathize with your tuner. The Infinity is way better to work with. It's actually easier and way quicker to tune on vs Hondata.

I stayed with hondata and went to another tuner. Didn't feel like shelling out another $1500 and I can still smog with hondata.
cars on the dyno now...see what numbers she ppulls.
Thanks guys!

I ended up at Autowave in Hunting Beach CA. Mike (Autowave) tuned my KPRO/installed the motor. Laskey Built my block with Wadzii's (CNC Speed shop) 2.4 stroker kit. Highly recommend all three of these people...all of them did great work.
Stock AP1 pistons (13:1 comp) with stock head, AP2 cams, intake, TB, intake manifold, and stock header. 3" Berk exhaust is the only mod.
Car made 250whp and 175tq 7800 redline. I have a 3.5 " intake I need to install next and hopefully pick up another 10-20whp. Im running 100 octane as its a track only car and pump gas here in CA is 91. Autowaves new dyno reads super low...actual number showed 211 whp. His dyno is new and apparently the rep did some adjustments to show "250". Could actually be more or less but the car is definitely stronger/faster.
Ill install my intake soon and post up the new numbers. This motor needs breather mods bad and I want to do 70mmTB and port match intake but that will be later,
My 2.2 made 218 on Evasives dyno for reference. I might just do a pull on there to see what I make.
I had my 1st track event with the new motor last weekend...car did great. Small misfire but I need to go a step colder and smaller gap. Weather was a factor but the car kept up with the big boys. Car should be good for a 1:27 at WSIR with right driver/weather. I was still getting used to the setup.
